So I bet my boyfriend is hoping I don't take a course on breatharianism.
When I took my raw chef courses in early March, (Level 1 & Level 2)I was so excited to prepare gourmet raw dinners every night in March, and wouldn't even let him in to the kitchen to get his own plate. I had it covered.
Then I went for the retreat weekend, it's been a pretty different dinner vibe around here. If you can even call it dinner. It's either a pitcher of smoothie, maybe a salad if you're lucky; more of a fend for yourself approach.
Yesterday, he was all hopeful when he walked in the door because the dehydrator was humming again. Unforch, it was lasagna for a paying customer! (That's the good news, paying customer.)
Even though he's not complaining, and he actually loves keeping it light and the benefits it brings, I think I'm going to be more aware of the balance. I mean, the look on his face when he thought we were eating solids...
And the breatharian thing...well, don't hold your breath!
Happy Friday, Rawkers!

Never set up expectations ...
Poor Steve. Yes, breathing IS all you need, darling ! :)
Just back from Las Vegas where I saw ( Brian pointed it out first )macaroni & cheese listed under the Vegetable choices on an a la carte menu in a French bistro.
It's all relative. XOX Islander
Hi Islander,
Happy Back from Vegas! Hey I want some macaroni seeds! :)
And I thought all ya need is love. I'm confused. Well all we need is dinner! I told Steve about this blog post and we had a laugh over how it's been lately, and agreed that tonight, we're having raw pizza and raw cinnamon rolls (oooh lala put THAT under your Vegetables choices...)
:)
